Attendance at the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum qualifies for continuing education (CE) credits for enrolled agents, certified public accountants, Annual Filing Season Program participants, and California Tax Education Council (CTEC) participants. You will need to understand and comply with your licensing agency's CE requirements.
IRS Communications & Liaison is an IRS-Approved CE Provider for those individuals who are enrolled agents, as well as those participating in the Annual Filing Season Program.
The IRS Nationwide Tax Forum is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
For NASBA, the field of study for all seminars is “Taxes” or “Behavioral Ethics”, and the delivery method is “Group-Live.” For IRS continuing education purposes, the fields of study are Federal Tax Law, Tax Law Update, or Ethics.
Please note that the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum is no longer registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Therefore, participation in the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum no longer counts for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credits.
